New rumour: No Pokemon Z but Pokemon X2 and Y2
Now Nintendo did say something about them not planning a Z version. But I know it will be X2/Y2, for this reason.
Mega Mewtwo X/Y + Mega Charizard X/Y.
Now this is the MAIN reason for this theory. Zygarde is very weak for it to be the third member of the trio. It has the BST of 600- while Xerneas/Yveltal have 680 BST. In Gen 6, a new feature was added- Mega Evolution, which boosted the stats of Pokemon. Charizard and Mewtwo, however, have 2, both having game-specific mega stones. So, I predict that since they can do TWO different Mega Evolutions for one pokemon, then instead of releasing one new version, they'll give Zygarde two mega evolutions to boost his stats, Mega Zygarde X and Mega Zygarde Y. So, logically they would release two different versions for each Mega.

Pokemon Z RUMORS: Zygarde Mega Evolution From Larvae Form To Combat With Inverse Battle Ability
As fans immerse themselves into Pokemon X and Y, rumors and theories on Pokemon Z has already begun.
Ever since the announcement of Pokemon X and Y, rumors on Pokemon Z have been swirling online. But with the existence of the legendary Pokemon Zygarde, fans have developed interesting rumors on what the sequel might entail.
"Xerneas and Yveltal are both immune to Zygarde's main types," writes CoolGlaceon on PokeJungle. "What if in Pokemon Z when and if Zygarde mega evolves, it gains an ability which turns immunities into weaknesses much like how inverse battles work. I guess this is also backed up by the fact that the only place to have inverse battles is on Route 18 where Terminus Cave is located…where Zygarde is found." This is not the first time rumors of a Zygarde mega evolution has surfaced.
"A mega evolution gives a Pokemon an increase in 100 to their total base stats. Zygarde has 600 base stats which is super low for a [legendary trio]. A mega would make Zygarde have a 700 base stat, tying it with Mega Tyranitar and Mega Garchomp and making it stronger than Xerneas and Yveltal," writes HeavyMetalLamb. "Its Pokedex also talks of how it will reveal its secret power when the ecosystem goes wrong, which I'm sure will be the plotline of the next game, and we manage to get ahold of Zygardenite which they will code into the next game of DLC expansion."
"Also, you ever notice how when you first encounter Xerneas it's in a tree-like-state, Yveltal is in a cocoon-like-state, and Zygarde looks like the larvae for a fly and lives underground like larvae." Given the upcoming Diancie distribution, it is clear Game Freak intends expand the Pokemon X and Y universe, whether through a DLC or a sequel game like Pokemon Z. What do you think of these Zygarde theories for Pokemon Z?

CoroCoro Magazine Reveals New Rock/Fairy-Type Pokémon
The Pokémon series of games is a franchise that generally remains
untouched following launch. Minus a few patches, the core game remains
almost identical to its launch day counterpart; the only exception Game
Freak has made to this formula is the distribution of additional and
unique Pokémon. In the early days of the series, certain Pokémon such as
Mew and Celebi were only legitimately available when users performed
specific tasks or fulfilled certain requirements. Even in 2014, Pokémon
continues to make additional creatures available to players.
The March 2014 issue of the Japanese magazine CoroCoro has officially unveiled a new Pokémon to the generation six roster. Diancie, the new Rock/Fairy Pokémon with the Pokédex number #719, is the first event Pokémon to be announced for generation six. Diancie will star in the seventeenth Pokémon movie titled: The Cocoon of Destruction and Diancie, the first of the X & Y era.
Although no details we stated indicating this Pokémon will be available for distribution in Pokémon X and Y, an image that surfaced in late October may indicate otherwise.
The leak contained an image of Diancie, with identical typing as well as Pokédex number compared to the information revealed today. The set of images also included details about a plethora of additional Pokémon including Volcanion and Hoopa, two new legendaries, as well as Mega Evolutions for Latias and Latios, and new designs for Floette and Vivillion.
Perhaps these Pokémon, as well as Diancie, will make their way into Pokémon Z in the future.

Expectations for Pokemon Z: HM Removal, Greater Difficulty and more Mega Evolutions?
Ever since legendary Pokemon Zygarde was revealed, there has been a lot of speculation that the franchise's developers might release a new game, Pokemon Z.
The idea of Pokemon Z has excited fans of the franchise, causing many of them to create large of lists of changes and upgrades that they would like to see in future Pokemon games.
This list has been generated after aggregating 'wish-lists' of hundreds of fans on social networks and forums. Please grab a pen and paper developers, here is what your fans want in Pokemon Z.
Better Trainer Customization
Almost every list from players around the internet have requests related to trainer customisation, making them one of the most sought after changes that players would like to see.
Players want to go deeper and tweak even minor elements of their characters. This includes facial features, skin tone, and hair color. Several trainers have requested for the ability to be able to unlock special outfits and accessories after beating notable trainers in the game.
Added Difficulty
Players have always said that Pokemon X and Pokemon Y have been rather easy to play and complete. Even though the games do offer a variety of challenges, many players are of the opinion that the game is a little too easy. Greater difficulty is a very, very popular request.
It goes without saying that the developers have a young target audience in mind while designing Pokemon games, but it doesn't mean that older players should left out. A variety of difficulty modes could solve this issue.
More Post-Game Exploration
Even though the games are extremely wholesome and meaty, players long for more post-game action and exploration areas. Players are hoping that Pokemon Z will offer a few new towns, massive areas with mysterious foes, side quests and large doses of adventure even after the game has been completed.
In other words, there is very little that players can do with the game after having completed the main quest.
More Mega Evolutions
Easily one of the most popular requests on the Internet, players want more mega evolutions, specifically for the other starters.
More Involvement from Gym Leaders
Very few gym leaders in the game are 'involved' with the story. By connecting more Gym Leaders to the game's story, offering them more detailed backgrounds and personalities, the game will create a more wholesome experience for players.
Please Remove Those HMs
Another extremely common request sighted in a majority of lists, fans want the developers to make HMs removeable in the game. An alternative could be to maybe allow players to buy items from stores that would allow them to replace HM functionaity. For instance, an axe that can cut. Fans have complained ever since generation one that the HM system is 'broken'.

Pokémon Z Confirmed? Zygarde completes the circle
Talk about an important Pokémon X and Y new legendary. A wild Zygarde has appeared, thanks to the leaker Kanpachi of the SomethingAwful forums -- not to be confused with Kenpachi, though we like to think they're the one in the same. The snake-like Z legendary makes things regarding these Pokémon X and Y new games very interesting. Some may think the fact that Zygarde starts with a Z and forms the letter when seen profile-view is coincidence. Though the high level at which Kanpachi has encountered Zygarde, along with the fact it's ability Aura Break directly counters Xerneas and Yveltal's abilities leads us to believe this is in fact a Pokémon X and Y new legendary.
Pokémon that's part dragon. Though it makes sense Zygarde could shift the odds in its favor this way, with it being the order Pokémon and all.
